It is hard to believe that we accepted your proposal to restore the pews in All Saints' Memorial Church on July 18, and as of Sunday, September 6, the pews have been refinished and installed. In addition, the carpeting we chose with you has also been installed. As you know, we took this opportunity to completely paint the inside of the church and to refinish thie wainscoting. The parishioners are delighted with their beautiful "new" church. I have no idea what the pews looked like in 1864, but I am sure that they look better now than they did 139 years ago.
Please also know that the workmen from the refinishing facility and those who installed the carpet were professional and a pleasure to work with. Steve was quite knowledgeable about the pews in this National Historic Landmark building and made several suggestions, which we accepted.
Thank you Dave, for making this large project a pleasant one.
